Seriously: Maryelyn grew up in the salon industry & has been in it professionally for 13 years. That time has made her more able than ever to provide exceptional, highly personal service. Her main goal has always been to do her very best and never stop learning. She continues ongoing training through yearly shows and classes (see below). Specializing in Alternative haircolor and cutting techniques, creative coloring techniques and waxing are Maryelyns favorite things to do, but also enjoys the creativity of all aspects of hair styling, including formal styling for weddings and special occasions as well as Rock-a-Billy and Pin-Up style hair. Creating and working in Retro Lux Hair Salon & Lounge has made Maryelyn able to provide the high quality hair designs and personal service to clients that a "quick cut" salon cannot. She absolutely loves her job and has a very loyal client following. This should be important to anyone sitting in her chair, that, with the years of experience & ongoing training, will make the difference.
